CEDI Password Changes (.5 Hours ~ Free) Wednesday July 8, 2009 (2:00 PM Eastern)
Passwords for Medicare’s Common Electronic Data Interchange (CEDI) system for transmitting electronic claims change every 90 days. In this brief but informative session, you will learn how to easily reset your passwords from within the DMEVI software without assistance.

It is assumed that persons attending this session have a basic understanding of electronic claims submission.

Payment and Adjustment Posting (2 Hours - $100.00) Wednesday September 16, 2009 (2:00 PM Eastern)
In this session the focus is on how to properly enter payments and adjustments to correctly credit invoices in DMEVI. We will review single invoice and batch invoice positing. This session allows you to gain greater control over the accuracy of your reporting and to know the proper payer distribution of your accounts receivable. ERN is not included in this session, it will be offered separately.

There are no prerequisites for this session.

Advanced Report Generator (2 Hours - $100.00) Wednesday October 14, 2009 (2:00 PM Eastern)
This session will focus on the advanced features of the Patient Report Generator. Topics include: Repeat Sections, Expressions, Calculations, Totaling Data, Column Headers and Maintenance File Referencing. We will also cover how to format a report to be exported to an outside source (i.e., Excel, SQL, Access, etc.)

A basic understanding of DMEVI Reporting and the Report Generator System is required.

Closing Reports for One Month (2 Hours - $100.00) Wednesday November 11, 2009 (2:00 PM Eastern)
This session will review standard End of Month reporting. Including A/R, Transaction and Sales Analysis reports and the end of month closing procedure to allow balancing of the system at the end of month. Also will discuss issues that can result in reports not balancing and how to fix them.

A basic understanding of DMEVI reporting is required.

Basic Reporting (1 to 2 Hours - $150.00)On-Demand
This session will introduce you to the available Aging, Transaction, Sales Analysis and manually generated reports available in DMEVI and provide an overview of various output options.

A basic understanding of the DMEVI billing system and/or accounting experience is required.

Selection Conditions for Reports (30 min to 1 Hour - $75.00) On-Demand
This course will show how to produce targeted reports by using Selection Conditions to filter data. Topics include: [F2] History Selects for patient demographic data and [F3] Order Selects for order header, charge line or payment line data.

A basic understanding of DMEVI Reporting is required.
