CareCentric® Enters Into Agreement with Alternative Billing Solutions, Inc.

Firm’s services to augment CareCentric’s existing HME consulting services

ATLANTA (March 21, 2006)—CareCentric Inc., a leading provider of technology, business-operation and outsourcing solutions for home care, medical equipment and long-term care providers , announced today that it has entered into a consulting agreement with Alternative Billing Solutions, Inc., of Bloomington, Minn. ABS’s services will augment those already provided by CareCentric through its HME Business Process Management services, which include billing services and productivity assessments, as well as customized consulting services performed by HME industry expert Jane Bunch.

Under the agreement, ABS will provide consulting services to home medical equipment providers in several areas. Customer service training helps staff improve customer contact. Reimbursement training covers changes that affect claim submission for both public and private payers. Accounts receivable management consulting includes evaluation of the provider’s A/R and recommendations for improved efficiency and cash flow. Operational analysis entails a thorough examination of the provider’s procedures and policies.

In addition, ABS has been a long-time user of CareCentric’s Dezine DME-VI billing and operational management software in its billing services area. “We believe this experience will prove especially helpful to our customers as they seek to use their resources more effectively in an increasingly challenging environment,” said John Festa, CareCentric president and CEO.
